The theme of today’s teaching is derived from the book of 2 Kings 4, the story of the Shunamite woman. She watched a dream that she had longed for die within her very own hands. Some of us have had various dreams that we have witnessed die in our hands or some have died even before they get to our hands.

2Kings 4:34 Then he approached the child and lay down with his mouth near the child’s, with his eyes near those of the child, and taking the child’s hands in his. As Elisha stretched himself on the child, the child’s flesh began to grow warm.

How did she move from a dead dream to an awakened dream?

  1. PERSPECTIVE: Up down view, verses down up view. 1John 4:17 as He is so are we on this earth.
  2. VISION: What do you see? Habakkuk 2:2 write down the vision make it clearer.
  3. WORDS: The power of life and death is in your tongue proverbs 18:21. The Shunamite woman says in 2Kings 4:23 “it shall be well”.
  4. TOUCH: What can you impart? You always get what you impart. Who are you a blessing to? Galatians 6:7. Do not be fooled you shall reap what you sow. Iron sharpens iron proverbs. Who is imparting to you? Hebrews 13:8.
  5. MOVE FROM YOUR COMFORT ZONE: Be willing to do the uncomfortable until you get a valid Response.
